Howdy Folks! I was born and raised in Manchester in the UK. As I was growing up I got to hear a lot of good music mainly Country Music and Rock 'n' Roll . At the age of 13 years old I took an interest in the guitar after seeing one of my uncles play a Buddy Holly song called Peggy Sue.0
Over the years I learned to play the guitar, I joined the Royal Navy and travelled some of the world playing in bars during my shore leave both abroad and at home. Before that I was in a school band and then later on I was in and out of different bands/duo's playing all kinds of music and always for fun.
I've always favoured "Country Music" and today Country and Rock' n' Roll seem to go together. Deciding to become a solo performer playing along to backing tracks I'm now in 7th heaven playing the kind of music I love.
I'm now 49 and have been playing the guitar on and off since those early days. Now I do a bit of singing too.
